About Famulare Jewelers
Famulare Jewelers, established in 1999, is the labor of love of Rita and John Famulare. Rita, who has been involved in the jewelry industry for 30 years and is a Graduate Gemologist, GIA, runs the day to day operations of the retail location in Carlsbad, CA. John, coming from a corporate environment and with extensive experience in business consulting, serves as the CEO managing all areas of operation within the corporation.
At Famulare Jewelers our philosophy is to become your jeweler for life and is founded on the principle of customer service. We strive to treat every customer with the respect and courtesy that we would like to have extended to ourselves and we pride ourselves on being a Full Service Jeweler. We are here to accommodate every jewelry need whether it’s a simple repair or an elaborate custom design. We have the expert staff, necessary resources and cutting edge technology to ensure that the work is done precisely and with loving care. If we don't have it in stock, we'll get it for you and within a reasonable time frame. If it's a custom piece you want, we'll make it for you and at a fair price. If it's a repair you need, we'll do it quickly, and do it on-site. Our business has been built around our reputation and the referrals we get from our loyal customers. • Goldsmiths / Jewelers
• Our two Goldsmiths/Jewelers are repair specialists. Utilizing a state of the art repair shop, no repair is too tough or complicated.
• On-Site Repairs
• The majority of all of our repairs are performed on-site in a 240 square foot repair shop. This allows us to maintain control over your valuables and ensure a quick turn around on your repair.
• Laser Repairs
• Our repair shop includes a state of the art jewelry laser machine. The laser allows us to perform repairs that simply cannot be done on a regular jeweler's bench. As an example, our jewelers can re-tip ring prongs WITHOUT having to remove the stones. This eliminates the worry of having a stone damaged during the removal and resetting process.

• CAD Design
• No design is too intricate. With CAD technology, what used to be impossible can now be a part of your collection.

• Appraisals are performed by a Graduate Gemologist (GIA).
• Each appraisal contains a complete and accurate description of your jewelry including the current replacement value.
• We guarantee that our appraisal will be accepted by your insurance company or guarantee your money back.

• Signature Engraving System
• Our engraving system is computerized to ensure only the highest quality engraving for your jewelry.

Location: Famulare Jewelers is located at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort which is just 30 miles north of San Diego. We are 10 minutes west of the McClellan-Palomar Airport and 10 minutes south of the Oceanside Amtrack Station. From any coast city simply take the Coaster train to the Carlsbad Station where you can walk to the store in only 5 minutes. 

Driving Directions: From the I-5 Freeway take the Carlsbad Village Drive exit. Go west for exactly one half of a mile to Carlsbad Boulevard. Turn left on Carlsbad Boulevard (Note: stay in the right turning lane) Then make an immediate right into the Carlsbad Inn parking lot. You're there! We are located on the southwest corner of Carlsbad Village Drive and Carlsbad Blvd.
